Wicked Colour Combo!

This is the wickedly delightful colour combo this month over at Wicked princesses , decided upon by Princess Kat :)


And in an effort to use up my stash, I used an old old old piece of Kaiser flutterby PP, which was perfect for the colours chosen! Hooray for using up stash!!!

Sunday Scrapping :)

Yay! The kids woke Mick up at 7am this morning (at his request) and they have gone for a bushwalk, leaving me home alone (ahhhh my favourite thing EVER!) So, of course, I am scrapping. I am ignoring the dishes, the floors, the unmade beds etc and scrapping!

First up a Wicked Lo using the lovely April kit! And my entry for Aussie Pub Calls Road Maps.

Ooooh lookie at that flower! And my fave thing to do at the moment... Handcut titles!!! I have done 4 LOs this weekend, and 3 have handcut titles! Reeeeeeally wishing I had a die cutting machine right about now LOL

I love this pic of mum and Sam, taken by the gorgeous Kellyd (link in my side bar). I didn't know she had taken it, so when i was looking through her pics and I saw this lovely moment between mum and Sammy I had tears in my eyes...just gorgeous!

And the house feels kind of sad and lonely :-(

After spending a week with us in Mundubbera, my sis left this morning, and we miss her already. I think she deserves some sort of prize for staying this long! I believe she is only beaten by my mum and dad who had to stay for two weeks when we were awaiting the stubborn Sam's birth (two weeks overdue)
So...its back to our lives, and hopefully onto a new diet. I think all i did with her here was EAT! Not cool...wonder if I put on the ENTIRE 8kg I lost before Clare's wedding or just most of it???LOL

Happy ANZAC day everyone....

Five Faves for Friday!

Whew, another week!

#1 Yoville on Facebook. I am woefully and ashamedly addicted to this stupid game. I have been working on my apartment and even considered setting my alarm for 2am to send my character to work (you can only go to work every 6 hours) P.S...I need crew.

#2 My pearl earrings :) Love them...I forget to change my earrings 90% of the time. This week however I actually remembered and it felt nice to pop them on!

#3 oh man...Marley and Me.

SUCH a good movie!

My fave part wasn't even the puppy and the whole relationship between the dog and its owners...I actually really liked how 'real' things were in the family and the marriage. I liked that things weren't always sunshine and roses, but they stuck it out.

Just a lovely lovely movie:)

#4 Chai latte. mmmmmmmm

My sis has been making me the YUMMIEST chai latte's. So good:)

#5 is flat out my all time favourite thing.

My sister visiting for the past week.

It has been awesome. So relaxing and lovely to just spend time hanging out together and (far too much eating LOL) chatting. I will be SO sad to say goodbye to her when she goes home tomorrow!!!

I sat down...

I am sooooo tired this afternoon, and I have just made the fatal mistake.

I sat down.

I said goodbye to the Tuesday/Wednesday baby threw dinner in the oven and am now, sitting. And my chances of getting up again are looking pretty slim.

Ugh.

I normally keep moving until everything is done.....

I Done Won Some Stuff!

Last month I won a $60 voucher with this LO!!! (I know...I was SHOCKED!)

And then the weekend just gone, I entered my first ever cyber crop!

Love these pics...to look at them no one would know the screaming fit that Charlotte threw just moments before, and that in each shot she is clutching a lolly pop...see, i am not above a little bribery;)

I know! I am amazed too! I had fun spending my $60 voucher the very day I received it...and am bursting to go spend up at the Enchanted site!

Tuesday :)

Sam and I got our Tuesday Wednesday baby back today!

We celebrated by making Play doh... Sam wanted to make 4 different colours, he wanted to make a volcano and a dinosaur....

But I reined in his creativity and we made green.

We introduced our Tuesday/Wednesday baby to the joys of squishing stuff between her fingers, and gave her her first taste of play doh...

Luckily I get to change the nappies tomorrow. There might be some wild colours in there!

My poor sister. She is single, no children and here on holidays, and THIS was the high point of our day. She will never come back here I just know it... LOL

And I think she may also never have children. Just quietly. I think we have turned her off.

Hmmmm, these seem especially random this week! LOL

#1 the sausages made by the local butcher...he has won awards and stuff, and they are soooooooo good! #2 the cooler weather...oh its so wonderful to pop slippers on in the mornings and to snuggle under the doona at night (admittedly the ceiling fans are going...but still, noticeably cooler!)

#3 praise GOD all the easter eggs have been purged from our house! Woot!

#4 have loved this weeks school holiday. I adore having my chicks home with me, and just love having wonderfully lazy unproductive and carfty days. Bliss!

#5 My sis Amy arrived this afternoon to spend a week with us! Good times!!!!!

Such a glorious day, the girls hung outside for a few hours, playing in the mud. Would you believe the stink they kicked up when I asked them if they wouldn't mind moving to some grass for me to snap a few shots?!?!? Sheesh...mud, grass...I know which I would prefer! LOL

The kitten who thinks he is a dog...Can't have something happening in HIS back yard without him investigating!

I'm glad I snapped these pics, cause Mick mowed this afternoon, so all my lovely 'ambience' is gone *sniff*

Oh man, the freckles on her nose just slay me! Love them!

Scrap The Girls :)

Sooooo, I applied for the recent call for the Creative Team for Scrap The Girls, and I got on!!!!

I dunno if you have noticed, but I like scrapping my girls.... I love the pinks and pretty colours that girly pics beg you to use... (even if the girlies being photographed aren't acting particularly girly LOL)

I love the inking and the ribbon, the bling and the flowers that cry out to be put onto a girly page...

And with this many girls just on MY side of the family, I don't think I will run out of girly pics to scrap any time soon!!!!

Being Crafty...

And feeling the neutrals today apparently!

A really quick, simple LO. The hardest part was handcutting that title...actually I lie, I enjoyed the cutting out, it was remembering how to flip the word in Word that was the hardest part..good old Google! And a card with the scraps :)

And another card...Idea taken from here. Clearly not as cool as the one I stole from, but a cool idea!

I don't like that I had to handwrite the message *pout*

Well, maybe 'had to' isn't quite right...I couldn't find a rub on or stamp that said what I wanted and I reeeeeally couldn't be bothered to hand stamp each letter. LOL

So while I sat down to write this post, about his messes for that hour, I made Sam a sandwich. I looked over and saw his face. ARGH!

And as I sit now, I can hear him emptying his toy box...LOL
