I am currently computerless! Whilst trying to complete my uni assignment (due Friday ARGH!!!) My computer got hijacked, and I can't access anything. No emails,websites, nothing. Actually,that's a lie...the nasty bug thingy quite happily will open up random p0rn or Viagra sites :-/
So,I am not dead...just incommunicado...and hopefully not for too long. Can you pray for a miracle for a computer???Cause I could really do with one of those right now! The week a big assignment is due is not a great time for this to happen :(

Kirsty, It looks like you got hit by the Vista 2010 Virus or one of it's nasty brothers. .It's a highly aggressive rogue spyware. Yup Porn and Viagra!! I just recovered from it by of all things, going to a hospital website...Whatever you do, dont download what it is asking you do...IGNORE...They just want you to buy the fake Virus protection...Dont do it!! This is what you do...Can you pinpoint when you got it?? This virus is very smart, but you have to outsmart it!!Do you have virus protection?? If not I recommend Malwarebytes and Spybot. And AVG to start. All 3 have free versions. You will have to start your PC in safemode to download the software. I downloaded it on my desk top, transferred to a flash drive, then uploaded to my laptop in safemode...

If this does'nt work, (it should)then you will have to restore your computer to an earlier point, which I did anyway to rid your PC of the nasty virus. You will lose data you have collected up to that point, but the virus will be exterminated!!!I restored from the day before the virus reared it's ugly head. It worked...I am clean..And very well protected now!!
