I am applying for the KaiserCraft Design team again....
I was talking to Mick on Thursday night about how sad I was that my time was ending, and he looked at me and said "why don't you apply again?"
So I am.
They are a fabulous company to work with, and I don't think without my commitments to them this year I would have continued to scrap throughout mum's illness and following her death.
Part of the reason I was so sad to be finishing is that I only just now feel as if I am coming out of a scrapping fog.
Feeling like I am starting to get back into things again.
I am guessing they probably want some fresh faces, but if I don't apply, the answer would DEFINITELY be no right?!?!? lol
So, here I am, cap in hand(so to speak) with my application.
Some projects are old faves, some are brand spanking new!
Here is an old fave...a gorgeous little chest of drawers, decorated with some lovely 'Timeless' collection and some of the gorgeous blooms and flourishes released this year.
I loved the paper mache effect I got by inking, tearing and gluing the Timeless papers.
This was definitely a fave range...
This too I have shown before...a double page LO of my kids on holidays.
I really liked sneaking in just an extra couple of photos and journaling!
This is a new LO, featuring another fave (tehehe...maybe I should stop claiming them ALL as faves...its just so hard to pick ONE!) 'Secret Bird Society'
And some more gorgeous Blooms.
I also love these phrase rubons...(I don't think they released anything this year I didn't like LOL)
A brand new card using yet ANOTHER favourite range (and a fairly new release!) 'Chanteuse.
*love*!
And a project using the amazing Ornate Frame and Chanteuse (not a brand new project, but one I haven't shared with you guys yet!)
I loved making these big flowers using the beautiful patterned papers, and mixing my cluster with some more beautiful paper Blooms :)

This is a brand new mini album, again using Chanteuse...it was inspired by my mum missing out on so many events now that she is gone.
I made the album out of envelopes, and intend to make one for each of my children.
Inside each envelope is a tag, with a little letter written to them with wise words (hah! hopefully wise!!lol) or just some feelings and advice, maybe even some photos(if I could find some that were appropriate for that occasion). Each envelope and tag represents what may be a big event in my children's lives...the birth of a baby, wedding day, graduation etc. (Mick tells me that this project is maudlin...pooh to him I say!LOL)
I have bound the album with adjustable rings so I can add to the album as I think of things.
Now, hopefully I will actually BE with my babies as these things happen, but mum's sudden death really made me realise how much-even as an adult- I still want my mum's advice, and beautiful words.
Again, I loved this collection for scrapping all my school photos. I always had trouble scrapping the school pics, but this range made it SO easy!
And my favourite 'bit'...I spelled out 'Sam' using the mini alphabet paper from the 6 1/2' paper pad ;)
A new mini album showcasing some special moments for Sammy from his year in Prep using 'Class of 87' :)
He had such a blast that I wanted to make him a special little keepsake...there are little pockets and different places for him to pop some artworks and certificates :)
I love making mini albums with different shaped pages!
And lucky last (Kudos if you made it through! LOL) some older cards I showed on the KasierCraft blog again using 'Class of 87'.
The brights in this collection are PERFECT for birthday LO's or projects! I found making these birthday cards SO quick and easy!
