Yesterday's Scrapping Class :-)

Here is my creation from yesterdays Scrapping class in Gayndah with Stacey!
I arrived, and had stupidly forgot just one small thing...THE PHOTOS!!!!!!

UGH

So there really wasn't a lot I could do once I covered the album with the PP. I kinda just sat and enjoyed being in the company of lovely ladies! My friend Kirsty came with me, and she had remembered her photos, so I kinda chatted and cut out a few bits and pieces.

How's that! Never in my life had I met another Kirsty...now, in this teeny tiny town there are 5 of us! there is even another Kirsty Louise! Can you believe it????
Ooooh love those metal flowers in the piccie above! I want more...but alas, that was the last packet!

So there we have it! My scrapping adventure for Saturday! Now its Sunday and my stupid Uni stuff is calling my name...unless I think of a million other things that need doing *heh*

Ooooh and Mick said we may be able to get a new camera! The one he dropped is really misbehaving. Grrrrrr. It randomly focuses itself, and then refuses to take selected photos. Very frustrating when you are trying to photograph kids who like to constantly move!!!

Well, my lovelies, we have a few suggestions for house colours...keep them coming. I am very easily swayed at this point in time!

Love you all, thanks for stopping by!

How about these colours?

This is our house now...yep, that is apricot and green...together. I know its very blah...and in desperate need of a face lift! This is clearly not our house...but what do you think of the colours?
Help my lovely family and friends and any random internet strangers!!!! I need help. I am VERY bad at making decisions, and this is a big one! Make the wrong choice and the whole town gets to laugh!!!!
I really want to steer clear of traditional Cream, green and red...the house next door is painted those colours and it is an amazingly gorgeous house. We are never going to look that good, so I don't want to look like we are trying!
So pleeeeeeeeease! there have to be good colour choosers out there! What do you think?!?!?

Five Fab Friday Faves!

Wooot!!!!! Its Friday!!!! Bring on the weekend!

First Fave this week is this quirky cat. He's hilarious...he comes to the toilet with me (his tray is in the huge toilet room), he sits on the top of the shower stall while I shower, he follows us down to the shops and waits patiently outside for us to come out. He's just plain funny, and kind of cool! Awwww Fave two is my family...all of them. They all rock, and we have SO much fun when we get together! Love love love them!!!!
Fave three is these kids. They have made me laugh SO many times this week! They are funny guys!
Ooooh Fourth fave is scrappy DT goodness...love getting those pizza boxes in the post!
And fifth fave doesn't have a photo...I am going to a real live class tomorrow!!! We will be making a tag book, and I have those fabulous photos I took of the kids last weekend to scrap! How fun!!!! I love real live classes. Having other people who are scrap mad and just sitting there for hours, playing with paper paint and glue...ahhhhh BLISS!

Mick is now officially on holidays! Any suggestions for house colours??? He is supposed to be starting painting on Monday, and I still don't know what colour to paint...all i know is that i don't want green. Its green and apricot at the moment (eeeeew, who thought THAT was a good idea???) I am thinking blue, red and cream. Trust me it looks better than it sounds! I will be sure and post lots of work in progress shots!

Thanks for stopping by! Link me up with your five faves list! I'd love to see!!!

Have a great weekend!

Heard at our House tonight...

"We do NOT make Pac dots out of our bread!!!"

*sigh* another one of those things you never think you will have to make rules about ... seriously!?!

The kids current X-Box Pac man fad has spread from the X - box to the dining table. Well, now its a rule, hopefully there will be no more rolled up bread pac dots for lunch or dinner!!

Kerryn, close your eyes....

Cause this post has sneaky peeks of the Direct2U DT pack!!!! And you don't want to ruin the surprise when the postie comes!

First though...Sam. He seems to have become strangely attached to this back pack. When I say attached, I mean ATTACHED. Seriously. He arrived in our bed the last two nights wearing the pack. It comes EVERYWHERE with us. He is currently watching television, wearing the pack.

Now, this pack is packed specially by Sam. I had been unable to peek in all weekend, because he was constantly wearing it. He has a bath, and the pack is sitting beside the tub. So, last night when he was asleep (with the pack in the bed beside him) I opened it. It is just chock full of his treasures. Toys, leaves, sticks and stuff that he has seen lying around that has caught his eye.

I think its gorgeous. A little snapshot of what is going on inside his head. A look into what he thinks is important. The little yellow folded bit of paper is a map. He made this (whilst wearing the back pack) when I was scrapping the other day. Apparently it tells us where Woozles and Dinosaurs are. Handy.
The pack is full of his favourite toy...Army Guys. You know the little green plastic men? he has hundreds of them...correction - I have bought hundreds of them, and they all get lost. It must be a mighty battle they are waging to have so many casualties!

On the Army Guys...The girls have become very interested in the bible and God. Asking questions etc etc (anyone know how to explain who made God??? I've got nothing) Sam - trying to horrify and shock me - the other day said in all seriousness " I believe in army guys. Not God". I just nodded and said "that's fine".

A few minutes later he came back crying "I didn't mean it mummy. I believe in God and army guys"

And finally...Kerryn..I warned you...close your eyes!!!!! My Direct2U DT pack!

Oooh its chock full of yummy yummy stuff! I am itching to use...its very 'me'! So excited about this one!

Oooooh what is it??? You'll have to just wait and see!

Thanks for stopping by!

A HUGE congrats to Dan and Jacqui Jones! Such good news that you guys are able to be at home together again! I know there is still so much ahead, but it must be SO nice to be at home again with your babies! I am sure everyone still has you in their prayers, I know I do!

I finally finished my clear album!

I started this a few weeks back at a class with Stacey in Gayndah, and I finally finished it today! Its all about my boy and our Wednesday trips to the park:-)

Love these little letters...they are part of a piece of paper I got ages ago in a kit, and I never used it cause it looked dumb...I like it for letters though!

Sam wanted dinosaurs...lots of them!
