Stupid New Years Resolutions...

Grumble grumble...
Yes, I have started my resolution to lose weight. I have been going for 5 days now, and have lost just over a kilo (I know, I was only going to weigh myself once a week, but I HAD to see if the hunger pangs were actually doing something!LOL)
My short term goal is to stay on Celebrity Slim until my sister's wedding in March. I am hoping that by the 14th of march I will have lost 10kg. (9 weeks, 10kg..thats do able!) After that, I will start Weight Watcher's online. My long term goal is to lose 40 -50kg. That means that when my other sister Amy gets married I will be slim and HOT!!!*sigh* 40 - 50kg seems like such a HUGE goal.
But I have started.
And isn't there a saying that the journey of one thousand miles begins with the first step?
So I have started my journey.
And I have put it here so I HAVE to be accountable. You all are my own personal cheer squad...kinda like the Nicorette guys, only not quite so, um, there...LOL
But luckily you aren't here at 6am to make me get out of bed and go for a walk...Heh. Cause that might not end well...for you.

I've got about 40 to lose as well, darl....it seems like a mammoth task but I'm trying to reduce what I eat instead of cutting everything out....I wish I could go on those meal replacement things but I reckon I would climb the walls looking for things to eat.....I just love to eat....I am very sure it's an emotional thing.
Anyhoo...I am trying to get up at 6am as well and do exercise...it is so great - NOT! But I feel fabulous after I've finished and I have a walking buddy who makes all the difference. Yay us, we can do ittttttttt!!
