Wednesday Weigh in...

Yep, its that time of the week again *sigh*

This week I lost 1.3 kg (or about 2.9lbs)

So a total for the two weeks of 3.8kgs ( or 8.4lbs)

I reckon that kind of sucks....

I went out for dinner last night and had 1 Diet Coke (everyone else ordered beer/wine, entree, main AND dessert) I came home and had a boiled egg.
I ignored the Chinese and the BBQ dinner, and I only lost 1.3kg????

I guess any loss is a good one...I guess.

I also have a cold. Which is kind of affecting the way I eat. Maybe that changed things? or maybe I need to get off my sizeable butt and get some exercise LOL (or I could cut off one of my arms, THAT would show a big loss on the scales!?!?!)

So family (my mum, dad, brother, SIL and sisters are all also doing the same diet...we all have a common goal..THE WEDDING!!!) how did you go this week?

A loss is still a loss! When I did weight watchers they said a kilo a week is good progress and you have gone past that. Just don't give up. Hope you are feeling better soon too. Summer colds are just the pits.

don't forget sweetie that that first week we always lose more because we lose mainly fluid. so just think this week that 1.3kg is likely to be FAT! I'd be stoked to lose 1.3 kilo a week!!

you are doing sooo great!
BTW i tried 2 squares of the dark choc mint crisp bar i got last night.. eww, not real nice, maybe it would have been better as milk choc, but i usually love the dark stuff. might try another supermarket and health food shop to search for the one you showed us!

Any loss is a good loss so congrats. I'm jealous that you have so many family members doing it with you...it's great motivation.

You should pat yourself on the back! Any loss is a good loss. I desperately need to get myself going. It isn't so much how I eat as it is that I'm just being so darn lazy. :(

You have inspired me, I know it doesn't seem like much (I would love to lose 5 kilos a week and be done with the whole thing by the end of two months!).....but it is good...you could have worked your arse off and only lost 600g or something!
Have you gone on the forums? They are quite encouraging. Lots of people talking about losses etc. Oh and if you have males who are doing it, they often lose much quicker. You probably already knew that.
Oh...and the other thing is that if you were already eating fairly healthily, it is probably not going to be as big a loss as someone who was pigging out all the time and much more overweight. People with more than 50kg to lose often lose more because their lifestyle is so bad. Perhaps yours wasn't as bad as you though?
Anyway, well done you and I will stop rambling!! :)
