D2U November stuff!

My DT creations for the month for D2U
Wowsers...Marisa's DT kit this month had enough stuff for about 6 projects or LOs...if I was careful...so I decided not to be careful and just have fun playing!!! LOL This is a mini album for my mum...it has the words to the song 'Butterfly Kisses' through out it. This is the song that will be playing as my little sis walks down the aisle in March.
It makes mum cry every time she hears it.
I remember on my wedding day coming home from the hairdressers and finding mum curled up on the couch quietly crying whilst listening to this song. She saw me and pulled me down onto the couch with her for a cuddle.... She's such a sweet heart:-)
The albbum belongs in the noodle box. That ribon on top has to be my favourite thing out of the entire pizza box, so I wasn't about to shut it away in an album..no siree! It needed to be displayed loud and proud for the world to see!

This next LO is about naming little Treacle. It has some of the cute funny little names on it that the kids wanted to use:-) I thought in 20 years time they might think it was fun to look back and see that they wanted to name the kitty 'Soldier Killer' or 'Sparkles Tangerine'.
I really like this LO...not cause it looks nice, but because of the sentiment behind it. Another 'inspired by a song' LO this month! Mick had  a Garth brooks CD on earlier this month, and a song played that ALWAYS makes me stop think and feel so very grateful for the blessings that I have.

'Sometimes I thank God'...for unanswered prayers. I think of all the times I prayed for something stupid and silly, and am so grateful that God knew my heart and had such an amazing life planned for me. At the time, I may have been heartbroken to not have my prayers answered, but it was all for the best... I think if you click this, it should get bigger, if you wanted to read the journalling or anything;-)
Oooooh this is a doozy! My family from 1991! Hah! look at how HOT we are! I am wearing STIRRUP PANTS! yeeehaw...and not a horse in sight. I still love the pic, even though the fashions are kind of shameful, and some of our haircuts leave a lot to be desired;-)
Well, thats it....November...SHEESH! Next month its December -duh - and that means Christmas. I am so not ready for Christmas! How did that happen?!?!?

Thanks for stopping by, have a great weekend!
