Not Me Monday

I didn't wake up moments before the scheduled power outage on Sunday make DH and I a cuppa, and then go back to bed for a nap...at 8 am. Nope morning person...thats me..TOTALLY!

I did not try to dose my kids up with panadol this morning as they said they were feeling sick so that I could go to my grown up Melbourne Cup luncheon...nope. Good mum I am.

I didn't log onto my uni website to discover that I had gotten a HD for an assignment which I thought I had totally bombed out on! Oh wait hang on...I totally DID! Yep...I had convinced myself that I was going to either fail or get a 'pity pass' for the assignment I handed in. Lesson learned...slack off the studies more often Bwahahahaha!!!!

I did not eat all of the ice cream last night, and then when the kids found the empty tub this morning tell them that it had gone bad and it had to be thrown out. Nup...I share everything with the little cherubs!

I did not read through the blog posts for Ali Edwards December Daily Album and wonder how much it would cost to fly the family to somewhere cold, just to get snowy christmas pics. No way, that would be silly after all Christmas is about family and love and junk...and wanting snow pics is just ridiculous!!!! (okay I did..imagine a cold Christmas..one that doesn't involve sitting in front of the air con, only leaving the aircon to dive into the pool..)

I didn't go into Sam's room yesterday, and rather than sort through the pile of clean and dirty clothes on his floor to find what needed washing, just toss it all into the machine. Ugh.

Ahhh my Monday/Tuesday therapy session....all better now;-)

Found your blog via My Charming Kids and had to comment on what mad scrapbook skills you have. I scrolled through some of your old posts. Very impressive.

Monday therapy is right. Nothing like reading other Not-Me's and realizing that you are completely normal after all. (LOL) I especially loved your tidbit about eating all of the ice cream. That happens all of the time in my house!

BTW, where are you from? I couldn't tell from your profile, but I am guessing Australia?
